It was another delightful evening of social netball at Rutland Sports Park. As the sun set and the lights illuminated the court, Week 3 of the season was in full swing. Players of all experience levels gathered, creating a hub of energy, friendship, and healthy competition. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the evening was a great testament to the spirit of netball, celebrating teamwork, camaraderie, and the joy of the game.

In the first game of the evening, The Rutland Rebels and the Pivoters had an evening filled with high-energy play. The Rebels completed the game with a narrow win of 11-10 over the Pivoters. The spirit of the game was well and truly alive, with both teams showcasing teamwork and dedication to make for a thrilling contest.

Next up, One Hit Wonders faced Nets Top Models. Nets Top Models secured a 7-5 victory after an invigorating display of netball. Both teams exhibited a fantastic attitude, embodying the true essence of social netball: friendship, fun, and fitness.

In the final game, we saw an exciting match between Shooting Stars and Defend Divas. The Shooting Stars finished the game with a score of 13-12, a tight match that was decided in the final moments. The commitment from both teams was palpable, with every player displaying great sportsmanship and positive energy throughout the game.

A special mention goes to Elizabeth Barratt from Shooting Stars, who was recognized as the Most Valued Player of the week.
