Rutland Sports Park was buzzing with energy, laughter, and camaraderie as Week 4 of the social netball season unfolded. A mix of seasoned players and new faces filled the court, united by their love for the game. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as players from different experience levels got together to enjoy another fantastic evening of netball.
The first match of the evening featured the Defend Divas and One Hit Wonders. Both teams showcased an impressive commitment and passion for netball. The final score saw the Defend Divas finish with a 10-7 lead. Their positive energy was infectious, reflecting the spirit of the game.
Next, the Shooting Stars faced the Pivoters in a match filled with teamwork and sportsmanship. The teams played with great spirit, resulting in a final score of 8-12 in favour of the Pivoters. Despite the score, both teams were brimming with smiles, a testament to the friendly and supportive environment of social netball.
Lastly, Shoot Your Shot and Rutland Rebels took to the court. The match was an enjoyable spectacle filled with great movements and strategies. The game ended with Shoot Your Shot scoring 11 against Rutland Rebels' 10, a closely fought game enjoyed by all.
A special mention goes to this week's Most Valued Player, Jo Moroz from Rutland Rebels. Jo's enthusiasm and movement around the court were applauded by everyone. Her positive contribution was appreciated by both her teammates and opponents, truly embodying the spirit of social netball.
