As the sun set on Rutland Sports Park, the lights switched on for Week 3 of the social netball season. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere enveloped the park as players of all experience levels laced up their trainers, ready for an evening of camaraderie, fitness, and of course, a bit of friendly competition.
The first match saw Pivoters sharing the court with One Hit Wonders. Despite a spirited performance from the Pivoters, the One Hit Wonders wrapped up the game with a score of 18-8. The commitment of each team was palpable, with every player putting their best foot forward and keeping the energy levels high throughout the match.
Following on, Rutland Rebels and Shooting Stars took to the court. Their game ended with Rutland Rebels leading 16-5. The encounter was an exceptional display of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Both teams played with an infectious energy, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
Next up was Shoot Your Shot against Defend Divas. The game wrapped up with Shoot Your Shot finishing on top with a score of 7-3. The spirit of sportsmanship was high on the court, with both teams showing great teamwork and a positive approach. The commitment from each player was admirable and the match had an energetic buzz from start to finish.
The most valued player of the week award went to Samantha Hanson Hanson from Pivoters. Samantha showed fantastic enthusiasm throughout the night, her positive energy and dynamic movement around the court were commendable. Her contribution to the game was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.
