Ilkeston Tuesday Netball Update 28th April

As the sun set on a crisp Tuesday evening, another exciting week of the Ilkeston Tuesday Netball brought plenty of action. Teams took to the court with great energy, showcasing impressive teamwork, quick movement, and strong defensive play throughout the night.

One of the closest contests of the week saw Defend Divas take on Rutland Rebels in a tightly fought match. The Rebels just edged it 9–8, with both sides demonstrating determination and composure right to the final whistle. It was a fantastic example of how competitive and evenly matched the division is becoming.

Shoot Your Shot also delivered a confident performance, securing an 18–8 win over One Hit Wonders. Their sharp attacking play and consistency on court continue to make them a strong presence in the league.

Elsewhere, Pivoters and Shooting Stars treated spectators to another closely contested game, with Pivoters coming away with an 11–10 victory. It was an exciting matchup that highlighted the growing strength and competitiveness across all teams.

A special mention goes to this week’s Most Valued Player, Megan Crate from One Hit Wonders. Her determination, skill, and positive presence on court stood out, making her a well-deserved recipient of the award.

With each week bringing new highlights and strong performances, excitement continues to build as the league progresses. The season remains wide open, and there’s plenty more great netball to look forward to in the coming weeks.
