Leicester Sunday Social Netball

The Leicester Sunday League Netball season kicked off last night with heart-pounding matches that thrilled both spectators and players alike. The teams, fuelled with competitive passion and a thirst for victory, brought down the house with their impressive skills, strategy, and teamwork.

The matches were nothing short of electrifying. The Foxes started their season with a match against the formidable Netchicks. From the onset, the game was an uphill battle for the Foxes, who put up a valiant fight but ultimately fell short, with the final score tallying 3 - 8 in favour of the Netchicks.

In another thrilling match, the Stealing Passes masterfully outplayed Court Out, securing a victory of 25-10.  Among the standout performances of the night, Anna Southam of the Foxes emerged as the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's defeat, Southam's stellar performance was a testament to her skill and determination, further solidifying her reputation as a player to look out for this season.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on these top-ranking teams and the remarkable athletes who lead them. The Foxes, Netchicks, and Stealing Passes have set the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable season.
