On a chilly Tuesday evening, the Rugeley Leisure Centre was once again alight with activity, camaraderie, and the unmistakable buzz of Week 14 of the social netball season. Players of all experience levels came out in force, bringing with them a wave of positivity and team spirit that transformed the leisure centre into an arena of shared laughter, fruitful learning, and a fun-filled sporting evening.

The first match of the evening saw the wonderful Phoenix Reds face off against the Rugeley Rebels. The game ended with Phoenix Reds recording a score of 25-7. Despite the scoreline, both teams showcased immense sportsmanship, and their unwavering commitment to teamwork was clearly evident. It was a well-played match, marked by positive energy and friendly competition.

Next, the Rugeley Roses took the court against the energetic Rugeley Rangers, with the Rangers adding 18 points to their tally while the Roses secured 9. The match was a delightful exhibit of the spirit of the game, with both sides displaying a robust dedication to teamwork and fair play.

Meanwhile, the Rugeley Warriors and Rugeley Divas provided an exciting spectacle, with the Divas finishing the game with a score of 19-6. The match was a testament to the mutual respect, positive energy, and sportsmanship that define social netball.

The Original Lions and Rockets wrapped up the evening with a thrilling encounter. They played out a closely contested match, with The Original Lions finishing with a score of 15-13.

This week, we had the pleasure of recognising Donna Jennings from Rockets as the Most Valued Player. Her enthusiastic movement around the court and positive contribution, both to her team and the game, were a sight to behold. Her sportsmanship was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 15 and another evening of friendly social netball, we want to thank everyone for their participation in what has been a tremendous season. We celebrate all teams, especially those leading the way in Division 1 like the Rugeley Rangers. But most of all, we celebrate the spirit of social netball - keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive, friendly environment.

So here's to another successful season of social netball. Let's keep the positive vibes going and look forward to many more enjoyable evenings at the Rugeley Leisure Centre.
