Tuesday evening was brimming with warmth and camaraderie as Week 13 of the social netball season unfolded at Rugeley Leisure Centre. The welcoming atmosphere buzzed with players of all experience levels who came together under the sportsmanship banner to enjoy a great night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw Rockets and Phoenix Reds go head-to-head in an energetic game, where teamwork and commitment were the stars. A riveting display of positive energy saw Rockets finish the game with a score of 19-14, demonstrating the beauty of the Back to Netball ethos.

Second on the court, the Rugeley Divas challenged The Original Lions in an encounter that encapsulated the spirit of the sport. Both teams played with immense passion and dedication, resulting in The Original Lions scoring a 16-10 win over the Divas. Despite the score, both teams left the court smiling, reflecting the true essence of this friendly, social event.

Next up, Rugeley Rangers and Rugeley Warriors played a thrilling game, with scores tied up until the very last minute. The match was a true testament to the spirit of netball, with both sides showing excellent sportsmanship. Rugeley Warriors finished the game with a score of 16-14.

The final match of the evening showcased the Rugeley Rebels and Rugeley Roses. Both teams exhibited exceptional teamwork and commitment on the court. The Roses edged out the Rebels with a score of 9-7, but the game was played in such great spirit that everyone felt like a winner.

A special mention goes to Charlotte McNaughton from the Rugeley Warriors who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her infectious enthusiasm and impressive movement around the court not only made her a crucial part of her team, but also a joy to watch. Charlotte's positive contributions were appreciated by both her teammates and opponents alike.
