Play in the Rugeley Tuesday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

Following another wonderful evening at the Rugeley Leisure Centre, Week 11 of the social netball season came to a close. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere, players of various experience levels gathered to share their passion for the sport. The spirit of camaraderie was palpable, with smiles and laughter echoing around the court.

The first match of the evening was between Rugeley Divas and Phoenix Reds. The game ended with Phoenix Reds scoring 22 points to Rugeley Divas' 13. Despite the difference in scores, both teams displayed a commendable spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship. The energy on the court was positively contagious, making it an enjoyable game for everyone present.

Next, Rugeley Rangers and Rockets stepped onto the court. The Rangers concluded the game with a score of 16-10. The dedication and commitment of both teams were evident throughout the game. Even though the Rockets did not come out on top, their positive energy and team spirit were undeniably inspiring.

Rugeley Rebels and The Original Lions played a spirited game, with the Lions scoring 12 points to the Rebels' 7. Both teams demonstrated an admirable level of sportsmanship, and the positive vibes were palpable even to spectators.

Rugeley Roses and Rugeley Warriors closed the evening with the Warriors finishing the game with an impressive 18 points to the Roses' 9. However, the score didn't dampen the Roses' spirit, and they left the court with smiles on their faces.

A special mention must be made for the Most Valued Player of the week, Sian Jones from Rugeley Warriors. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her dynamic movement around the court was noticed and appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 12, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. This is more than just a game—it's about keeping active, meeting new people, and honing netball skills in an environment that champions support and communion.
