The Rugeley Leisure Centre was abuzz this Tuesday evening during Week 9 of the ever-exciting social netball season. Both seasoned players and netball newcomers came together, filling the centre with a mix of cheerful camaraderie and friendly competition. The night was filled with a welcoming atmosphere where players of all experience levels shared a great night of netball.

The first match between Rugeley Rangers and Phoenix Reds saw both teams bringing a vibrant energy to the court. With a final score of 26-11 in favor of the Rangers, both teams demonstrated teamwork and a passion for the game that was inspiring to see.

The game between Rugeley Rebels and Rugeley Divas also made for an exciting spectacle. Displaying remarkable sportsmanship, the Divas ended the game with a 15-7 win. The high-spirits of both teams served as a testament to the friendly yet competitive atmosphere of the evening.

The match-up between Rugeley Roses and Rockets witnessed some great runs and impressive team coordination. The Rockets soared to a 20-5 victory, showcasing the positive energy typical of each week’s games.

The last game of the evening was a closely fought match between the Rugeley Warriors and The Original Lions. Both teams showcased immense commitment, ending the game in an exciting 10-10 draw.

Special recognition must be given to Shannon Kent from The Original Lions who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Shannon's boundless enthusiasm and outstanding movement around the court made a substantial difference to her team's performance. Both teammates and opponents alike appreciated her positive contributions throughout the game.
