Play in the Rugeley Tuesday You Play Netball league

Week 8 at Rugeley Leisure Centre brought another brilliant evening of social netball, with players of all abilities enjoying a fun, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. It was fantastic to see so much encouragement, teamwork, and laughter across the courts as another great night of netball unfolded.

Phoenix Reds got the evening underway with a strong performance against The Original Lions, securing a 21-5 victory. Both teams played with great determination and teamwork, making for an enjoyable game played in excellent spirit.

Rockets were next in action, earning a 17-11 win over Rugeley Warriors. It was an energetic contest with both teams showing fantastic effort, positive attitudes, and plenty of encouragement throughout.

Rugeley Roses and Rugeley Divas then treated everyone to a closely contested match. The Roses came away with a 10-7 victory, but both teams should be proud of the commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship they displayed from start to finish.

The final game of the evening saw Rugeley Rangers take on Rugeley Rebels. Rangers secured a 15-7 win in a match that perfectly reflected the friendly and supportive spirit of our social netball leagues, with both teams giving their all and enjoying every minute on court.

A huge congratulations goes to Nicola Donovan from Phoenix Reds, who was voted this week's Most Valued Player. Nicola's excellent movement, enthusiasm, and positive attitude made a real impact on the evening and earned recognition from players across the league. Well done, Nicola!
