Play in the Rugeley Tuesday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

The energy was high and the atmosphere was welcoming at Rugeley Leisure Centre for Week 6 of the social netball season. An array of players, from beginners to seasoned netball enthusiasts, came together to celebrate their love for the sport in a friendly, supportive environment.

In a match that showcased team spirit and camaraderie, Phoenix Reds and Rockets took to the court, with the Reds finishing the game on a high with a score of 21-12. Both teams demonstrated great sportsmanship, tenacity, and a positive vibe that truly encapsulated the essence of the evening.

A closely fought game followed between The Original Lions and Rugeley Divas. The Original Lions played with commitment, putting up a score of 15-9 by the end of the match. The Divas showed remarkable resilience and teamwork, with both teams reminding us of the power of unity and dedication in the game of netball.

Rugeley Warriors and Rugeley Rangers next took centre stage, engaging in an energetic match that ended 17-5 in favour of the Rangers. The Warriors, though, never lost their spirit, impressing with their positive energy and determination throughout the game.

Finally, Rugeley Roses and Rugeley Rebels brought the evening to a close, with the Rebels ending the game with a score of 19-8. In a match marked by mutual respect and camaraderie, both teams displayed an undying love for the sport and an infectious enthusiasm.

The Most Valued Player of the week was Shannon Kent from The Original Lions. Her dynamic movement around the court, evident enthusiasm, and constant encouragement for her teammates and rivals alike did not go unnoticed, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the evening.
