Play in the Rugeley Tuesday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

The Rugeley Leisure Centre was abuzz with laughter, camaraderie, and the sound of bouncing balls during the delightful Week 4 of our social netball season. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as players of all experience levels shared in the joy of a great night of netball, demonstrating the epitome of sportsmanship.

In the first match of the evening, the Phoenix Reds and Rugeley Divas showed us a fantastic game. The Phoenix Reds finished the game with a score of 21-9. The game was a beautiful display of teamwork and commitment. Both teams brought so much positive energy to the court, making it an enjoyable game played in a great spirit.

Next, the Rockets and Rugeley Rangers took to the court. The Rangers wrapped up the game with a score of 17-10. The commitment on display was admirable, and the sportsmanship was outstanding, both teams proving that netball is about far more than just winning.

The Original Lions and Rugeley Rebels followed suit, with the Lions completing the game with a score of 13-8. Each team's dedication was clear to see, and the game was brimming with friendliness and positive energy.

Finally, Rugeley Warriors and Rugeley Roses showcased their skills. The Warriors closed the game with a score of 22-8. Both teams embraced the spirit of the evening, exemplifying the essence of social netball with their enthusiasm and respect for each other.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Eloise Nicholls from Rugeley Divas. Her enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution did not go unnoticed, and was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 5, we continue to anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. Our players keep active, meet new people, and develop their netball skills in a supportive environment. We're proud to be part of this community that embodies the 'Back to Netball' ethos. We can't wait to see what next week will bring!
