Week 9 of the Rugeley Tuesday Netball League brought plenty of great netball, with lots of energy, teamwork, and exciting moments across the courts.

The Rugeley Divas put up a determined fight against the Phoenix Reds but were edged out in a 20–5 result. The Rugeley Rangers were involved in a close and competitive match with the Rockets, showing real promise despite narrowly missing out with an 18–15 score. The Rugeley Rebels also faced a challenging game against The Original Lions, who came away with a 14–7 win after a strong all-round performance. Rounding off the night, the Rugeley Roses delivered an impressive display to secure a 21–9 victory over the Rugeley Warriors.

A big shout-out goes to Shannon Kent of The Original Lions, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Shannon’s skill, determination, and influence on the game made a real difference and helped drive her team to victory.

The Rugeley Roses were the top scorers this week, putting up an excellent 21 goals in their match against the Rugeley Warriors. Their strong teamwork and attacking play set the tone and made for a great game to watch.

With Week 10 just around the corner, the Rugeley Tuesday league continues to build momentum, promising more fun and competitive netball in the weeks ahead.
