What a fantastic way to round off the season at the Rugeley Tuesday 7-a-side Netball League!

The final week brought plenty of excitement, with Phoenix Reds finishing the season in style. After a strong and consistent campaign, they ended on a high with a confident performance against Rugeley Rebels to secure the division title. It’s been a brilliant season for the Reds, who have shown great teamwork, determination and commitment from start to finish.

There were more great moments across the courts too. Rugeley Rangers and Rugeley Roses played out a thrilling, closely contested draw that kept everyone on edge until the final whistle. Rugeley Warriors put in a strong display against Rugeley Divas, while Rockets impressed with an energetic performance against The Original Lions. Every team gave it their all, making for a memorable final night of action.

A special congratulations goes to Laura Carter of Rugeley Rebels, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Despite a tough game for her team, Laura’s skill, effort and positive attitude truly stood out. She’s been a fantastic competitor and a credit to the league.

It’s been an incredible season filled with brilliant netball, great sportsmanship and plenty of laughs along the way. A huge well done to Phoenix Reds on their well-earned success, and to every team who has taken part and made the league such a welcoming and competitive environment.

We can’t wait to see everyone back on court next season for more exciting Tuesday night netball in Rugeley!
