Buckingham Sunday night netball - week 1
The first week of the season kicked off with some nail-biting encounters. The high-stakes match between the formidable Court Up and the agile Bib It Like Beckham ended with a close score line of 5-6, in favour of Bib It Like Beckham.
Meanwhile, Thou Shalt Not Pass defeated Catch 22 finishing with a score line of 9-1. Both teams showcasing some exceptional netball skills.
Throwbacks lost out to Netbusters, who pulled off a victory with a 7-3 win. The game showcased the competitive spirit and talent that the league holds for this season.
Earning the honour of Most Valued Player in the opening week was the dynamic Becky Holland of Netball Ninjas. Holland's performance was a masterclass in netball, setting an admirable standard for the rest of the league. Her player value and skillset will undoubtedly be a game-changer for Netball Ninjas as the season progresses.
