It was indeed an exciting and convivial evening of social netball at the RGS Dodderhill Droitwich as we welcomed week 2 of the season. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship, as players from diverse experience levels came together to make the most of a fantastic night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw the Droitwich Diamonds and the Monday Misfits stepping onto the court. With the final whistle, Monday Misfits had an impressive total of 17 goals while Droitwich Diamonds showed great tenacity and positivity with 2 goals. The game thrived on teamwork and commitment, proving that netball is not just about scoring but also about creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Next up, the Droitwich Devils and the Rogue Angels drew the audience in with their infectious energy and sportsmanship. The match concluded with the Droitwich Devils scoring 13 goals, while the Rogue Angels were not far behind with 10 goals. It was a game that embodied the true spirit of social netball, as both teams demonstrated an admirable sense of camaraderie and enjoyment.

A special mention must be made of our Most Valued Player of the week, Jemma Brogan from Rogue Angels. Her enthusiasm and nimble movement around the court were impressive to witness and her positive contributions to the game were appreciated by both teammates and opponents.

As we look forward to Week 3, we are excited about another evening of friendly social netball. We encourage everyone to come out, keep active, meet new people, and develop their netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. So, mark your calendars for another wonderful evening of Back to Netball, where it's all about the love of the game, camaraderie, and having fun.
