The social netball season has joyfully sprung to life at RGS Dodderhill Droitwich with an entertaining evening marking Week 1 of the season. The welcoming atmosphere was evident, as players of all experience levels indulged in a night filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and above all, the sheer joy of netball.

The first match of the evening saw Rogue Angels and Droitwich Diamonds take the court. Both teams exhibited incredible teamwork and commitment, making it a thrilling game from start to finish. The Rogue Angels wrapped up the game with a score of 13-10, but it was the positive energy and sportsmanship from both sides that truly stood out.

The second match had Droitwich Devils pitted against Monday Misfits. With a final score of 21-8 in favour of Droitwich Devils, what was most memorable was not the result, but how each team displayed an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

A special mention must be given to Amanda Barber from Monday Misfits who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm, along with her superb movement around the court, were certainly noteworthy, receiving warm appreciation from both her teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 2, anticipation for another evening of friendly social netball is certainly in the air. Whether you're aiming to keep active, meet new people, or simply develop your netball skills in a supportive, embracing environment, these evenings are the perfect opportunity to dust off the cobwebs and get back into netball.
