The first match saw Droitwich Devils and Monday Misfits share the court, both teams putting forth a commendable display of teamwork and sportsmanship. The game ended with Droitwich Devils scoring 10 to the Monday Misfits' 4. The highlight of the game was the palpable positive energy resonating from both teams, who clearly enjoyed every moment of their game.
The evening continued with Rogue Angels sharing the court with Droitwich Diamonds. Displaying a consistent commitment to the game, Rogue Angels finished the match with a score of 24-5. The Droitwich Diamonds team reciprocated with an equal measure of zeal, making it a truly enjoyable game played in great spirit.
A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the week, Kelly Broadfield from Droitwich Diamonds. Her noticeable enthusiasm, sharp movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated not just by her teammates but also by the opponents, making her a standout figure of the evening.
As we look forward to Week 7, we invite everyone to join us for another enjoyable evening of social netball. These evenings are not just about keeping active, but also about meeting new people, developing netball skills, and fostering a sense of community in a supportive environment.
Finally, as this season draws to a close, we wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all participants. A warm mention to the winners Rogue Angels and Monday Misfits who have consistently displayed the spirit of social netball throughout the season. May we continue to celebrate netball in the same spirit, keeping competition friendly and support strong. See you all next week!
