On Monday, Droitwich once again became a beacon of friendly competition and camaraderie as the fifth week of our social netball season unfolded. The school buzzed with the positive energy of both seasoned players and beginners alike, each bringing their unique flavour to what was indeed, an enjoyable evening of social netball.

The first game saw the Rogue Angels and Droitwich Diamonds share the court. The game ended with the score of 23-10 in favour of the Rogue Angels. As the night drew on, both teams showcased an incredible display of teamwork and commitment that was nothing short of contagious. Each pass, goal, and interception was filled with a camaraderie that demonstrated what social netball at Droitwich Spa is all about.

In the second game, the Droitwich Devils took on the Monday Misfits. The game concluded with Droitwich Devils at 21-6. The supportive environment fostered by both teams was palpable as players moved the ball with precision, displaying remarkable sportsmanship throughout. The positive energy reverberated around the court, reinforcing that it's not about the score, but rather enjoying the game and playing in great spirit.

A special mention must be made about our Most Valued Player for the week, Emily Hand from Droitwich Diamonds. Emily's infectious enthusiasm was evident in every move she made around the court. Her positive contribution was appreciated not just by her teammates, but also by opponents who admired her sportsmanship.

Looking ahead to Week 6 next Monday, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active, it's about meeting new people, honing netball skills and fostering a love for the sport in a supportive environment. Here's to another week of Back to Netball, where fun, friendship and fitness take centre court!
