Week 3 of the Dursley Sunday Netball League offered another enjoyable afternoon of netball, with all teams demonstrating strong teamwork, resilience, and a great sense of sportsmanship across both divisions.

Cherry Bombs and Nock-tails took to the court in a closely matched game that saw both sides settle in quickly and work the ball confidently through the thirds. Cherry Bombs edged ahead to finish 12–9, but the scoreline reflected the shared effort and determination shown by both teams. Nock-tails’ Roseanne Jeffries stood out for her all-round performance, earning the well-deserved Most Valued Player recognition for her impact and consistency across the game.

In the League division, Dursley Dolls and Rednock N Roll delivered another engaging match, also finishing 12–9. Both teams showed excellent communication and movement, creating opportunities and responding well to each phase of play. The Dolls displayed great perseverance and worked hard to maintain momentum, while Rednock N Roll made the most of their chances. It was a match played in great spirit, with both teams supporting one another and keeping energy high from start to finish.

Across the league, what stood out most was the positive attitude and encouragement shown by all players, whether on court or from the sidelines. Teams demonstrated growing confidence in their combinations, along with a willingness to adapt and support each other through every passage of play.

As the season continues, it’s clear that each team is developing well and building strong foundations. With many more fixtures ahead, there’s plenty of opportunity for continued progress, teamwork, and enjoyment for everyone involved in the Dursley Sunday Netball League.
