Week 3 of the Dursley Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of matches, with teams showing great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the evening. Players from Pivot N Pass, Cherry Bombs, Nock-tails, and Rednock N Roll all delivered strong performances and kept the atmosphere positive and supportive across the court.
The fixtures provided plenty of exciting moments, with Cherry Bombs securing a 5-3 win over Pivot N Pass in a closely contested game. Rednock N Roll also had a strong outing against Nock-tails, finishing with an 11-4 result. While the scores varied, every team showed commitment, resilience, and plenty of encouraging play.
A special mention goes to Jodie Harris of Nock-tails, who was named Most Valuable Player of the week. Jodie impressed with her skill, effort, and excellent sportsmanship, making a positive impact for her team throughout the match.
Rednock N Roll and Cherry Bombs were among the highest-scoring teams this week, but every squad contributed to another fun and memorable evening of netball. It’s been great to see players supporting one another and continuing to build confidence and connections on court.
With more matches still to come, the season is shaping up to be an enjoyable one for everyone involved. The Dursley Sunday Netball League continues to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment where players can develop, compete, and most importantly, enjoy the game together.
