Dursley Sunday Social Netball Week 2

Week 2 of the Dursley Sunday Netball League saw a flurry of impressive plays, nail-biting finishes, and a clear demonstration of team spirit and sportsmanship. 

To kick off the evening, Rednock N Roll battled Cherry Bombs to a nail-biting 2-2 tie, showing the high-quality skill and competitiveness.

In another exciting match of the night, Nock-tails emerged victorious over Dursley Dolls with a score of 7-3. Despite the loss, Dursley Dolls showcased their talents, with Wendy Holt being named the most valued player of the week. Holt's incredible performance, marked by precision passes and fearless defence, stood out, earning her this well-deserved recognition.

As we head into week 3 of the Dursley Sunday Netball Premier League, all eyes will be on these teams as they continue to battle for supremacy in this highly competitive league.

Just a reminder to all ladies that nails must be short, below the fingertips, otherwise gloves are required. Please bring your own gloves with you, as they are not supplied by our umpires.
