Ampthill Wednesday Social Netball Update 3rd September
The Ampthill Wednesday Netball League witnessed a thrilling week of competitive action with teams battling it out for supremacy on the court. The week saw Catch You Later clinch a compelling victory over Hoops I Did It Again, outscoring them 14-9 in a high-octane showdown. The game was a showcase of agility, precision, and teamwork, setting the tone for the rest of the league matches.
The Cheeky Shooters proved their mettle against Pivot Pack, securing a hard fought 9-3 win. The Shooters' performance was marked by a high level of skill and teamwork, propelling them to victory. However, Pivot Pack gave 100% and their relentless never give up approach saw them battle until the final whistle.
In another close encounter, Pink Ladies edged Ball Or Nothing 7-5, demonstrating their tenacity and winning spirit. Meanwhile, FCC Netballers took a 8-2 victory over newcomers Red Hot Defenders who gave a great opening display.
However, the talked-about turn of the week was the standout performance of Charlotte Brown from Pivot Pack. Despite her team's loss, Brown impressed with her on-court prowess and game intelligence. Her exceptional game and contribution to her team made her the most valued player of the week.
