Ampthill Wednesday Social Netball Update 27th August

In a thrilling spectacle of athleticism and sportsmanship, the Ampthill Wednesday social Netball League entered its third week with FCC Netballers showcasing a masterclass in netball strategy, defeating Catch You Later 13-3. Their remarkable performance reinforced their position as one of the leading teams in the division. A combination of agility, accuracy, and teamwork were the key ingredients to their victory.


However, the night wasn't all about defeat for Catch You Later, as their player Paige Hewson was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Despite the team's loss, Hewson's performance stood out, demonstrating exceptional talent, tenacity, and an absolute love of the game.

In other matches, Ball Or Nothing lived up to its name by shutting out Pivot Pack 8-0. They put on a phenomenal display of attacking netball, leaving Pivot Pack no chance to score. Their victory has undoubtedly sent out a strong message to the rest of the division.

Not to be left behind, Hoops I Did It Again took the victory against Cheeky Shooters 10-0. Their flawless performance demonstrated why they are one of the top contenders in the division.

After three weeks of intense competition, the Premier League division's scoreboard shows FCC Netballers, Ball Or Nothing, and Hoops I Did It Again in leading positions. Yet, with several weeks still to go, there is ample time for other teams to catch up and disrupt the current standings.
