Ampthill Wednesday Netball Update - Week 8

Another fun and energetic evening of netball took place this week in Ampthill, with teams enjoying a great mix of teamwork, laughter and brilliant play on court.

Ballin Bellas had a strong game against Cheeky Shooters, putting in an impressive performance and coming away with a 24-1 win. Their positive energy and teamwork really stood out throughout the match.

Catch You Later also enjoyed a successful evening against Hoops I Did It Again, with both teams showing great effort and sportsmanship in a well-played game that finished 20-10.

Elsewhere, Flitwick Flames and Red Hot Defenders shared a competitive and friendly match, with Flitwick Flames taking the win 8-2. Pink Ladies and Ball Or Nothing also played out an entertaining game, with Pink Ladies finishing ahead 14-9.

A special mention goes to Charlotte Morriss from Ball Or Nothing, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Charlotte’s enthusiasm, determination and all-round performance on court made her a standout player of the evening.

As we head into week 9, it’s fantastic to see teams continuing to support one another, improve each week and enjoy everything the league has to offer. The Ampthill Wednesday league remains a brilliant way to stay active, meet new people and enjoy social netball in a welcoming environment.
