Ampthill Wednesday Netball Update - Week 6

Week 6 of the Ampthill Wednesday Netball League brought another fun and energetic evening, with plenty of great moments and positive team spirit on show.

The closest game of the night saw Hoops I Did It Again take on Red Hot Defenders in a really evenly matched contest. Both teams played brilliantly throughout, with Red Hot Defenders just edging the result 10–9 in a game that could have gone either way.

Catch You Later had a strong performance against Pink Ladies, working well together to earn a 14–1 win. Their teamwork and consistency across the court really stood out in this match.

Flitwick Flames and Ballin Bellas also shared a closely fought game, with Flitwick Flames narrowly taking it 9–8 after a great effort from both sides. In another enjoyable match, Ball Or Nothing came away with a 12–9 win over Cheeky Shooters, with both teams showing great determination throughout.

A special mention goes to Olivia Rose from Pink Ladies, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her effort, attitude, and all-round play were fantastic to watch and made a real impact on the court.

Overall, it was another great week of netball, with all teams showing brilliant sportsmanship and enthusiasm. With a few weeks still to play, there’s lots more to look forward to as the season continues.
