Ampthill Wednesday Netball Update - Week 14

As week 14 wrapped up at the Ampthill Wednesday Netball League, it was a fantastic evening of fun, teamwork and great netball under the floodlights.

A big congratulations goes to Pink Ladies, who finished the season at the top of the table with 25 points after an impressive run of results. They ended the season with a strong performance against Red Hot Defenders, winning 11–7 in a great match between the two teams.

A huge well done also goes to FCC Netballers, who finished the season as runners-up after a brilliant campaign and some great performances throughout the league.

There were plenty of exciting games during the final week. Hoops I Did It Again and Cheeky Shooters played out a close contest, with Hoops I Did It Again just taking the win 13–11. Another very tight game saw Ball Or Nothing edge past Ballin Bellas 8–7 in one of the closest matches of the night.

A special shout-out goes to Cecilia Bignall from Ballin Bellas, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player for her brilliant performance on court.

We’d also like to congratulate Alison from Cheeky Shooters, who was awarded Player of the Season for her fantastic effort and consistency throughout the league.

Elsewhere, FCC Netballers finished their final match against Catch You Later with a 12–7 win, rounding off a great evening of netball.

It’s been a brilliant season filled with laughter, teamwork and some fantastic moments on court. A huge thank you to all the teams who have taken part and helped make Wednesday nights such a great atmosphere.
