Week 12 of the Ampthill Wednesday You Play Netball League brought another great evening of netball, with just two weeks of the season left to go. It’s been fantastic to see teams continuing to show up each week with great energy, teamwork and encouragement for one another.

Pink Ladies had a strong game against FCC Netballers, coming away with a 14–8 win after some excellent passing and great movement around the court.

Ballin Bellas also put in a confident performance against Red Hot Defenders, finishing 11–4 in an enjoyable and well-contested match. A special mention goes to Ria Tonking from Red Hot Defenders, who was named Player of the Week. Ria’s determination, positivity and effort really stood out and she was a credit to her team.

Catch You Later had a great run against Cheeky Shooters, securing a 13–0 result thanks to some brilliant teamwork and supportive play throughout.

Ball Or Nothing also had a solid performance in their match against Hoops I Did It Again, finishing 11–1 in a game that showcased plenty of effort from both sides.

With only two weeks remaining, we’re looking forward to rounding off the season with more fun matches, positive team spirit and great netball all round.
