Ampthill Wednesday Netball Update - Week 10

A Brilliant Week 10 in the Ampthill Wednesday Netball League

Week 10 of the Ampthill Wednesday 7-a-side Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams taking to the court for some fast-paced games, great teamwork and plenty of positive energy.

Cheeky Shooters faced FCC Netballers in one of the evening’s matches, with FCC Netballers putting in a strong performance to secure a 19–1 win. Both teams showed great effort throughout, with plenty of determination on display.

Pink Ladies also had a good night on court, earning a 17–1 result against Hoops I Did It Again. It was great to see both teams supporting each other and keeping spirits high throughout the game.

Ballin Bellas and Catch You Later shared an entertaining match, with Ballin Bellas coming away with a 10–4 win. Catch You Later worked hard across the court, showing great teamwork and resilience.

Ball Or Nothing and Red Hot Defenders delivered a well-contested game, with Ball Or Nothing edging ahead 12–8 in a match full of energy and commitment from both sides.

This week’s standout player was Hayley York from Cheeky Shooters. Despite the result, Hayley gave an excellent performance, showing fantastic effort and skill throughout the game.

A special mention also goes to Ria Smith from Catch You Later, who was named Player of the Match for her brilliant work rate and positive impact on court.

As we head into the next few weeks of the season, it’s fantastic to see teams continuing to enjoy their netball, build confidence and support one another. The atmosphere each Wednesday remains friendly and welcoming, and we’re looking forward to more great evenings of netball ahead.
