Ampthill Wednesday Netball League – Week 1 Round-Up

It was a great start to the season in Ampthill, with teams taking to the court for the first week of Wednesday night netball. The evening was full of energy, teamwork and plenty of support from players on and off the court.

Catch You Later and Pink Ladies played out a really close and enjoyable game, with Catch You Later just edging the result 15–14. It was a fantastic match with both teams showing great determination throughout.

Ball Or Nothing had a strong start against Cheeky Shooters, finishing 15–3. There were some lovely passages of play and great teamwork on display from both sides.

Red Hot Defenders and Hoops I Did It Again also shared a closely fought match, with Hoops I Did It Again finishing 8–7. It was a fun and evenly matched game that kept everyone engaged.

Flitwick Flames and Ballin Bellas rounded off the evening with another good contest, with Ballin Bellas finishing 7–5. Both teams brought great energy and effort to the court.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Olivia Ellis from Cheeky Shooters, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort and impact on the game really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

It was brilliant to see so many players back enjoying their netball and creating such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With the season just getting underway, there’s plenty more fun and social netball to look forward to in the coming weeks.
