The warm interior of Plantsbrook School played host to an engaging and enjoyable evening of social netball. Week 8 of the season saw players of all experience levels gather for a vibrant night of sport, camaraderie, and fun. The welcoming atmosphere reverberated with laughter, cheers, and the sound of sneakers scuffing the court, as teams from Division 1 took to the court, embodying the spirit of Back to Netball.

The first match of the evening saw Hoop There It Is and Sutton Dreamers display tremendous teamwork and sportsmanship. Hoop There It Is ended the game with a score of 17-9, a testament to their persistence and collective effort. Both teams brought an infectious positive energy to the court, making the game a joy to watch and participate in.

Jaguars and Sutton Ballers graced the court next, providing another display of excellent commitment and determination. The final whistle saw the Jaguars with a score of 15-12. Despite the result, both teams played in great spirit, highlighting the essence of this friendly community club.

A special mention goes to Jane Hinis from Sutton Dreamers, who is this week's Most Valued Player. Jane's enthusiasm and agile movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Her positive contribution was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike, making her a standout player of the evening.

As we look forward to Week 9, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active, it's also about meeting new people and developing our netball skills in a supportive and uplifting environment. After the incredible display of tenacity and team spirit this week, we can't wait to see what next week brings at Plantsbrook School.
