Play in the Sutton Coldfield Sunday you play netball league

Plantsbrook School in Sutton Coldfield was abuzz with excitement last Sunday evening as it hosted Week 5 of our joyous social netball season. Players of all experience levels came together in an atmosphere brimming with camaraderie and sportsmanship, celebrating the spirit of netball and enjoying a fantastic night of fun and fitness.

In the first match of the Division 1 group, the Net Setters and Wildcats showed us a lively display of teamwork and commitment. With each player contributing their all, the Wildcats completed the game with a commendable score of 32 to 1. Despite the scoreboard, both teams radiated positive energy throughout the game and demonstrated that sportsmanship is just as important as the final score.

The evening continued with the Jaguars facing off against the team 'Hoop There It Is'. The Jaguars had a spirited game finishing with 2 while 'Hoop There It Is' ended with a score of 14. Both teams played their hearts out and kept the spirit of the game alive, reminding us all that netball is about much more than just the scoreline.

A special mention goes to Natalie Day from Sutton Ballers, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Natalie's enthusiasm shone throughout the evening, with her impressive movement around the court and positive contribution greatly appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 6, we anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. This is not just about keeping active, but also about meeting new people and developing netball skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. We're excited to see all the familiar friendly faces, as well as welcome newcomers to our ever-growing netball family. See you on court!
