Welcome to Week 1 of the social netball season at the Plantsbrook School! The evening was filled with a lovely atmosphere of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a shared love of the game. Players of all experience levels gathered to enjoy a thrilling night of netball, shaping up an exciting start to the season.

The first match of the evening was between Wildcats and Boldmere Ballers, both teams of Division 1. The Wildcats finished the game with a strong performance, scoring 14 goals to Boldmere Ballers' 5. It was an evening of pure sportsmanship and positive energy from both teams. Their commitment to teamwork was evident throughout the match, making it an enjoyable game played in the best of spirits.

The second match of the evening saw Sutton Dreamers against Hoop There It Is. While Hoop There It Is ended the game ahead with 14 goals to Sutton Dreamers' 9, both teams demonstrated a fantastic display of skill and coordination. Their unified teamwork and spirited performance were the highlights of the game.

Next, Sutton Ballers and Jaguars faced off in a friendly yet thrilling match. Jaguars wrapped up the game with 11 goals to Sutton Ballers' 8. Both teams showed great dedication and sportsmanship. The positive energy on the court was palpable, showcasing the fun of social netball at its finest.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Ciara Bennett from Sutton Dreamers. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her movement around the court was impressive. Ciara's contribution was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike, proving herself an invaluable player.

As we look ahead, Week 2 promises another fantastic evening of social netball. The season has just begun, and we welcome players getting back into netball. It's not about winning or losing, but about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive community.
