Front-runners Leopards demonstrated their dominance once again with a resounding 26-2 victory over Sutton Dreamers, ensuring their position remains unchallenged at the zenith of the League table. The Leopards showed a masterclass in both attack and defence, leaving the Dreamers struggling to counter their superior display of netball.

The real thriller of the week, however, was the closely contested match between Jaguars and Tigers. The Jaguars, in a display of sheer grit and determination, edged out the Tigers 16-15 in what was undoubtedly the highlight of the week. The nail-biting finish kept onlookers on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Hoop There It Is couldn't withstand the steady offensive pressure from the Wildcats and suffered a 8-25 defeat. The Wildcats' consistent performance throughout the match left no room for Hoop There It Is to stage a comeback.

Amidst the intense competition, one player stood out above the rest. Rebecca Mayhew of the Boldmere Ballers was named the Most Valued Player of the week, her exceptional skills and consistent performance on the court making her a standout in the league.

As we look forward to week 9, the League continues to promise more thrilling performances and spectacular displays of athleticism on the netball court. The top scorers across the divisions will certainly be looking to maintain their momentum, while those trailing behind will be eager to make up lost ground.
