Play in the Worcester Monday social netball League

The Perdiswell Leisure Centre buzzed with an inviting, friendly atmosphere during Week 9 of the social netball season. Players from all walks of life and experience levels gathered to enjoy an evening of sport, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

In Division 1, Manic Mondays and Court Queens played an energetic game, with Court Queens finalising the match with a score of 18-11. Both teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship, the game being played not for victory, but for the love of netball.

Meanwhile, Goal Bladders and Worcester Sauces showcased their commitment and tenacity in an evenly matched game that ended in a 14-14 draw. The positive energy on the court was palpable, and both teams left the court in high spirits, having thoroughly enjoyed the match.

No Direction and Weakest Link faced off in a game filled with fast-paced action. No Direction rounded out the match with a score of 17-3. Despite the scoreline, the game was marked by hearty laughter, good-natured banter and a fantastic display of sportsmanship.

In Division 2, the Worcester Ladies and Perdiswell Shooters showed off their skills, with the Shooters ending the game with a 17-8 scoreline. Both teams radiated positivity and support for one another, exemplifying the spirit of social netball.

The Worcester Wonders and Wildcats graced the court in a thrilling match that ended with the Wildcats ahead at 10-8. Despite the close score, competition remained friendly and the game was enjoyed by all.

The Oak Apple Catchers and Hot Shots brought their A-game, with the Hot Shots nabbing a 15-7 score by the final whistle. Every team member put their best foot forward, demonstrating the principles of commitment, teamwork, and fun.

The evening wouldn't be complete without a special mention. Congratulations to Keira Seager from Weakest Link who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Keira's enthusiasm and movement around the court didn't go unnoticed. Her positive contribution resonated with not only her teammates but her opponents too – a true testament to her sportsmanship and love for the game.

As we gear up for Week 10, we’re all excited for another night of social netball. The focus remains on staying active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
