In the heart of Worcester, another fantastic week of social netball unfolded at Perdiswell Leisure Centre. It was week 7 of the season, and the atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and good spirits. Players from all walks of life and varying experience levels came together to enjoy a wonderful evening of netball.

The evening saw the Weakest Link and Court Queens from Division 1 display incredible teamwork and commitment to the game. Court Queens managed to finish the game with a score of 17-5, but the energy and positivity from both teams were commendable.

In another thrilling match, Manic Mondays took on Goal Bladders. Despite the 14-10 score in favour of Goal Bladders, both teams showed remarkable sportsmanship throughout the game, proving that the spirit of the game was the real winner.

Worcester Sauces faced No Direction in a close contest that ended in an 11-7 score line. The game was filled with positive energy and was truly enjoyable to watch.

Meanwhile, in the Division 2 group Hot Shots and Perdiswell Shooters battled it out in a friendly game that ended 11-7. Wildcats also had a great game against The Oak Apple Catchers, ending the game 13-8. Worcester Ladies took on Worcester Wonders in the closest game of the night which saw Worcester Wonders win by 1 goal 14-13. The commitment from all teams was truly inspiring.

A special mention must be made for Tia Teague from Worcester Sauces, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Tia's enthusiasm and movement around the court were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game was a joy to witness.

As we look forward to Week 8, the anticipation for the next evening of friendly social netball is palpable. We aim to continue promoting an atmosphere that encourages keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
