The Perdiswell Leisure Centre was again abuzz this week for an enjoyable evening of social netball. As we moved into Week 6 of the season, the welcoming atmosphere was palpable, with players of all experience levels putting on their bibs and enjoying a fantastic night of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and good-spirited competition.

In the first heart-warming match from Division 1, Goal Bladders and Court Queens had a closely contested match where Goal Bladders came away with a narrow victory, finishing the game with a score of 14-12. While the scores were tight, the emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork was evident throughout the game.

Following suit in Division 1, Weakest Link and Worcester Sauces displayed a thrilling example of teamwork with a final score of Worcester Sauces leading 12 to Weakest Link's 6. Both teams showcased their commitment and positive energy, making it an enjoyable game played in the greatest spirit.

The last match in Division 1 between No Direction and Manic Mondays was a testament to the friendly yet vibrant nature of social netball, concluding the game with a score of Manic Mondays 11, just surpassing No Direction's 10.

In Division 2, Hot Shots and Wildcats put on an impressive display of netball, with Hot Shots narrowly leading the way with a score of 10-9. The match was a showcase of each player's individual skills, combined with an evident focus on teamwork.

Finally, The Oak Apple Catchers played against Worcester Ladies and ended the game with a score of Worcester Ladies 12 and The Oak Apple Catchers 7. Despite the score, both teams displayed high spirits and camaraderie.

The Most Valued Player of the week was Katie Elsworth from The Oak Apple Catchers. Katie's enthusiasm and energy on the court were truly infectious. Her movement around the court was impressive and her positive contribution was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 7, we are excited to see more of the same friendly social netball. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to stay active, meet new people, and develop their netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. We can't wait to see what the next week brings!
