Greetings, Netball Enthusiasts!

Week 5 of our beloved social netball season at Perdiswell Leisure Centre brought us all together once again in an atmosphere of camaraderie, laughter, and sport. Players of all experience levels joined us on the court, transforming a regular Monday evening into an extraordinary netball festivity.

In Division 1, the first game saw Worcester Sauces and Goal Bladders sharing the court. After a game of impressive passes and joyous teamwork, Worcester Sauces finished the game with a narrow margin victory of 13-12. Both teams exemplified the spirit of friendly competition and sportsmanship. Lastly, Court Queens and Manic Mondays went head-to-head in an energetic game, with the Court Queens scoring a total of 18 points against Manic Mondays' 12. The energy and passion in this game were truly commendable.

Division 2 also offered its share of lively games. Hot Shots and The Oak Apple Catchers displayed a great game, with Hot Shots scoring 18-10. Both teams played with commitment and showcased excellent teamwork. Following this, Wildcats and Worcester Wonders kicked off the evening, with the Wildcats concluding the game with a score of 19-7. The sportsmanship displayed was indeed inspiring. The final game saw Perdiswell Shooters and Worcester Ladies sharing the court, with Perdiswell Shooters scoring 16 points compared to Worcester Ladies' 6. The teams' commitment to the game and positive energy were infectious.

A special mention this week goes to our Most Valued Player, Cerys Cook from Worcester Ladies. Her enthusiasm, swift movement around the court, and constant encouragement to her teammates did not go unnoticed. Her contribution was not only appreciated by her teammates but also respected by her opponents.

With Week 5 behind us, we're looking forward to the next evening of social netball in Week 6. It will be another opportunity to stay active, meet more fantastic people, and continue honing our netball skills within a supportive and friendly environment. Let's keep this Back to Netball spirit alive and kicking!
