Play in the Worcester Monday social netball League

The community spirit was alive and well at Perdiswell Leisure Centre as we gathered for Week 4 of our vibrant social netball evenings. With welcoming smiles and an atmosphere of camaraderie, players of all experience levels joined in for a wonderful night of netball.

In Division 1, No Direction and Goal Bladders showed us how it's done. With both teams showing tremendous teamwork and commitment, No Direction finished the game with a score of 15-9. Each point was filled with positivity and energy, embodying the spirit of social netball.

Meanwhile, Weakest Link locked horns with Manic Mondays in a game that was all about sportsmanship. Despite the 12-8 score favouring Manic Mondays, both teams thoroughly enjoyed the game, creating a buzz around the court.

Court Queens and Worcester Sauces gave us a mesmerising display of social netball. While Worcester Sauces ended the game with a score of 21-11, the game was full of uplifting moments and friendly banter that epitomised the essence of the sport.

Over in Division 2, The Oak Apple Catchers and Worcester Wonders showed us how fun and friendly competition should be. Worcester Wonders slightly edged out with a score of 16-15, but both teams demonstrated a love for the game that was inspiring to all.

Hot Shots and Worcester Ladies played their hearts out, with Hot Shots finally ending the game on a high note with a score of 17-15. As true ambassadors of social netball, their positivity and energy were infectious.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was Izzie Lewis from Weakest Link. Izzie's dynamic movement and enthusiasm around the court were a joy to watch. Her positive contribution and spirit were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Moving ahead, we eagerly anticipate Week 5 and another delightful evening of friendly social netball. Our community continues to grow, filled with new faces and friends, all keeping active and enhancing their netball skills in a supportive, fun-filled environment. A big thank you to everyone for making these social netball evenings such a success. We look forward to seeing you all next week!
