Play in the Worcester Monday social netball League

It was a delightful evening of camaraderie and sportsmanship at the Perdiswell Leisure Centre for Week 2 of the social netball season. With the welcoming atmosphere buzzing, players of all experience levels joined together for a wonderful night of netball. Everyone played with such positivity and enthusiasm that one could clearly see the vibrant spirit of 'Back to Netball' shining through.

The first match in Division 1 saw Manic Mondays and Worcester Sauces display great teamwork and support for each other. Worcester Sauces finished the game with a score of 21-6. The game was played in great spirit and demonstrated the essence of social netball: enjoyment, friendship, and a shared love for the game.

In the second match we saw Goal Bladders and Weakest Link, with Weakest Link finishing with a score of 4-3. It was a fantastic match full of commitment and positive energy from both sides. The emphasis was on teamwork and sportsmanship, and both teams showed tremendous spirit throughout the game.

Court Queens and No Direction were the teams in the final match of Division 1. The game ended in favour of Court Queens, with a score of 13-7. The players exhibited remarkable sportsmanship and it was clear everyone thoroughly enjoyed the game.

The Division 2 group saw a match between Worcester Ladies and Wildcats. Worcester Ladies finished the game with a score of 13-3. Despite the score, the Wildcats showed great spirit and enthusiasm. The final game in this division was between Worcester Wonders and Hot Shots, with Hot Shots finishing the game with a score of 16-6. The teams showcased excellent commitment and teamwork.

A special mention must go to Katie Harris of Weakest Link. Katie was named the Most Valued Player of the week. With her enthusiasm, exceptional movement around the court, and a positive contribution, Katie was a shining example of social netball. Both her teammates and opponents greatly appreciated her spirit and dedication to the game.

As we look forward to Week 3, we eagerly anticipate another exhilarating evening of friendly social netball. We can't wait to see everyone back on the court, keeping active, meeting new people, and developing their netball skills in a supportive and invigorating environment. Remember, it's not about winning or losing, but enjoying the game and fostering the warm and welcoming community that is the heart of 'Back to Netball'. See you all next week!
