Friends, teammates, and netball enthusiasts gathered for a memorable evening of social netball at the esteemed Perdiswell Leisure Centre for the ninth week of this vibrant season. The atmosphere was brimming with camaraderie and sportsmanship as players of varying experience levels participated, showcasing their skills and enthusiasm in the spirit of Back to Netball.

The opening match saw Goal Bladders and Manic Mondays dazzle the spectators with their energy and zeal. The final score was 10-7 in favour of the Manic Mondays, but both teams displayed a harmonious blend of competition and enjoyment making the game a truly delightful spectacle.

Next, the Court Queens and the Hot Shots shared the court. The game concluded with the Hot Shots tallying 22 goals and the Court Queens scoring 13. Their unyielding commitment, strong teamwork, and amicable sportsmanship provided a thrilling game for all.

In another close encounter, Worcester Sauces faced off against the Wildcats, with the Sauces managing to secure a narrow victory, 15-14. The teams' spirit of friendly competition shone brightly throughout the match, with each team showing great effort and camaraderie.

The Division 2 matches were equally engaging. No Direction and The Oak Apple Catchers played a fun-filled game, finalizing with a score of 17-4 for No Direction. Perdiswell Shooters and Weakest Link shared the spoils in an 11-11 draw, their match exemplified the positive energy and teamwork that underpin our social netball evenings.

A special mention goes to this week's Most Valued Player, Alexandra Jeffries from the Hot Shots. Alexandra's enthusiasm, swift movement around the court, and positive contribution were highly appreciated by her teammates, opponents, and spectators alike. Her performance embodied the true essence of social netball.
