Worcester Monday Netball Update 8th March

Week 5 of the Worcester Monday Netball brought another evening of enjoyable and competitive matches, with teams across both Division 1 and Division 2 showing great teamwork and effort on court.

In Division 1, Court Queens secured an 18–8 win against No Direction with a strong all-round performance. Manic Mondays and Worcester Sauces played out a well-contested match, with Worcester Sauces coming away with an 11–7 victory. Worcester Wildcats also recorded a positive result, defeating Hot Shots 8–4 in a closely played game.

Division 2 also provided some entertaining fixtures. Goal Bladders earned a narrow 7–5 win against Weakest Link in a closely fought match. Worcester Ladies delivered a confident performance to secure a 13–3 victory over The Oak Apple Catchers. Perdiswell Shooters also enjoyed a good result, finishing 10–4 against Worcester Wonders.

A special mention goes to Michelle Woodbury of Worcester Sauces, who was named Most Valued Player. Michelle’s performance stood out for her consistent effort and skill throughout the match.

The highest-scoring teams this week were Court Queens in Division 1 and Worcester Ladies in Division 2, both showing strong teamwork and effective play.

As the Worcester Monday Netball continues, teams will be looking forward to the next round of matches and the opportunity to build on their performances. With plenty of enthusiasm across both divisions, there is still much to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
