Week 7 of the Worcester Monday Netball brought another round of competitive and enjoyable matches, with teams across both divisions continuing to show effort and progress.
In Division 1, Court Queens secured a 17–14 win over Manic Mondays in a closely contested game. Both teams competed well, with Court Queens managing to hold a slight edge. No Direction also picked up a win, finishing 12–9 against Hot Shots in another tight match. Worcester Sauces delivered a strong performance as well, earning a 15–6 victory over Wildcats through consistent play.
In Division 2, Goal Bladders recorded a 13–4 win over The Oak Apple Catchers, while Perdiswell Shooters came away with an 11–7 victory against Weakest Link. Worcester Wonders also put in a solid performance, securing a 20–12 win over Worcester Ladies.
Across both divisions, Michelle Woodbury of Worcester Sauces was named Most Valued Player of the week, recognised for her contribution and influence during her team’s match.
With the season continuing, teams will be looking ahead to the next round of fixtures as they aim to build on their performances. There is still plenty of netball to be played, and the coming weeks offer more opportunities for teams to develop and enjoy the competition.
