Worcester Monday Netball Update 23rd February

In the third week of Worcester Monday netball, local teams delivered an enjoyable evening of competitive matches, showcasing skill, teamwork and determination throughout.

Worcester Sauces produced a confident performance to secure a 12–7 win over Court Queens. In another fixture, Worcester Wildcats earned a 10–6 victory against No Direction, maintaining steady control of the game. One of the standout matches of the evening saw Manic Mondays take on Hot Shots, with Manic Mondays finishing strongly to claim a 17–10 win.

Elsewhere, Worcester Ladies faced a challenging match against Goal Bladders, who secured a 19–7 victory after a composed and consistent display. Perdiswell Shooters also delivered a solid performance, overcoming Oak Apple Catchers 16–8.

Manic Mondays were among the highest scorers of the week, while Goal Bladders also impressed with their attacking efficiency. Both teams set a strong standard heading into the next round of fixtures.

A special mention goes to Hot Shots player Freya Hamer, who was named Most Valued Player. Her excellent work rate, skill and positive impact on the game earned her well-deserved recognition.

As the season continues, teams are building momentum and growing in confidence. With plenty more matches still to be played, there is much to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
