Another fantastic evening of netball took place in the Worcester Monday Netball, with teams across Division 1 and Division 2 delivering plenty of exciting action, impressive teamwork, and great sporting spirit.
In Division 1, Worcester Sauces and Court Queens played out an entertaining contest, with Worcester Sauces coming away with a 20-13 victory. Both teams showed excellent determination throughout the match, contributing to a high-scoring and enjoyable game.
Goal Bladders also put in a strong performance against Wildcats, securing a 12-4 win through solid teamwork and consistent play across the court.
We also saw Manic Mondays take on Hot Shots. Manic Mondays produced an impressive attacking display to earn a 21-4 victory, continuing their positive start to the season.
Division 2 provided plenty of excitement as well. No Direction delivered a confident performance to overcome Worcester Wonders 13-5, while The Weakest Link edged a closely fought encounter against The Oak Apple Catchers, narrowly securing a 6-5 victory in one of the night's most competitive matches.
Perdiswell Shooters also enjoyed success, recording a 12-7 win against Worcester Ladies in a game that featured some excellent passages of play from both sides.
A special congratulations goes to Cerys Cook of Worcester Ladies, who was deservedly named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her outstanding effort, skill, and commitment throughout the match made her a standout performer and a worthy recipient of the award.
With the season continuing to gather momentum, every team is showing great enthusiasm and determination. As we move into the next round of fixtures, there is plenty to look forward to, with more competitive matches, standout performances, and exciting netball still to come in the Worcester Monday Netball.
