Worcester Monday Netball Update 16th February

The Worcester Monday Night Netball is heating up as the season enters its second week. With the teams of Division 1 and Division 2 battling it out on the court, it was a night of high-octane action, superb skill sets, and unexpected results.

In Division 1, Manic Mondays pulled off a narrow victory against the Court Queens, with the final score line reading 16-14. It was a tense match that saw the Manic Mondays fight tooth and nail for every point. Elsewhere in the division, the Hot Shots were on fire, outscoring No Direction 14-5. In another nail-biting clash, Worcester Sauces edged past Worcester Wildcats 13-9. The player of the night, Tia Teague from Worcester Sauces, was instrumental in their victory with her exceptional performance.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Goal Bladders demonstrated their defensive prowess, keeping The Oak Apple Catchers scoreless in a 6-0 win. The closest match of the night was between Perdiswell Shooters and Weakest Link, with Weakest Link snatching a last-gasp victory 3-2. Rounding off the Division 2 games, Worcester Wonders took on Worcester Ladies, with the Wonders coming out on top, ending the game 12-5.

It's still early in the season, but the fight for the top spot in both Divisions is heating up. All teams are looking forward to the next round of matches, ready to leave everything on the court. With players like Tia Teague setting the bar high, the competition is sure to only get tougher.
