Week nine of the Worcester Monday Netball brought another great evening of matches, with both divisions showing plenty of effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm on court.
In Division 1, Court Queens put in a strong performance to take an 18–11 win over No Direction, while Worcester Sauces edged a closely fought game against Manic Mondays, winning 16–13. Hot Shots also had a good result against Wildcats, securing a 16–9 victory in a well-contested match.
Division 2 saw just as much positive action. Weakest Link came out on top against Goal Bladders with a 9–5 win, although both teams showed great commitment throughout. Worcester Ladies enjoyed a 9–6 victory over The Oak Apple Catchers, and Worcester Wonders rounded off the evening with a 12–7 win against Perdiswell Shooters.
There were some excellent individual performances across the night, with Tilly Lewis-Lawson of Goal Bladders earning Most Valued Player. Her energy, skill, and all-round play stood out and made a big impact for her team.
Overall, it was another enjoyable week of netball, with all teams contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere. As the season continues, there’s plenty to look forward to, with teams building momentum and continuing to improve each week.
