Week 10 of the Bridgend Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of social netball, with teams coming together to play, learn, and enjoy the game in a welcoming and supportive environment. The night was filled with great teamwork, positive energy, and plenty of smiles on and off the court.
Coity Cobras and Nets In The City shared a lively and upbeat match, with both teams showing commitment and enthusiasm throughout. Coity Cobras made the most of their opportunities and worked well as a unit to finish with a 20–1 scoreline, while Nets In The City continued to show fantastic effort and determination, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the league.
Goals Aloud and Netballerz delivered a closely contested and enjoyable game, with both teams matching each other goal for goal in a 6–6 draw. The match highlighted strong passing, supportive play, and great sportsmanship from both sides, making it a pleasure to watch.
Baywatch Ballers and Game Of Throws also provided an entertaining fixture, full of movement and teamwork. Baywatch Ballers found good flow across the court to record a 13–4 result, while Game Of Throws remained positive and committed, contributing to a fun and fast-paced game.
This week’s Most Valued Player was Brianna Richards from Baywatch Ballers. Her performance stood out for her energy, teamwork, and positive impact on the game, embodying the supportive ethos of the league.
With top scorers still to be confirmed, it’s clear that Week 10 showcased the enjoyment, progress, and community that make the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League so special. As the league moves into Week 11, teams continue to build confidence, friendships, and fitness — proving that netball really is for everyone.
