Bridgend Sunday Netball Update - Week 2

Play in the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League.

Another great evening of netball took place in Bridgend on Sunday, with teams coming together for a fun and energetic night on court. There were plenty of great moments, positive teamwork and encouraging support from players across all the matches.

One of the standout games of the evening saw Nets In The City take on Goal Patrol. Both teams showed great effort throughout the match, with Goal Patrol working well together and finishing with an 18–9 result. Nets In The City kept their spirits high and continued to battle until the final whistle.

Game Of Throws also enjoyed a lively match against Goals Aloud. It was a fast-paced game with plenty of great passing and movement from both sides, with Goals Aloud finishing the match 25–12 after a strong team performance.

Another memorable game saw Coity Cobras face Netballerz. The Cobras had a great evening on court, working well as a team and finishing the match 36–5. Netballerz showed great determination throughout and continued to support one another right to the end.

A special mention this week goes to Megan James from Goals Aloud, who was named Most Valued Player. Megan impressed with her energy, movement and positive impact during the game, helping her team with some fantastic play.

It’s been another enjoyable week in the Bridgend Sunday league, with players continuing to bring great energy and enthusiasm to the court. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back for more netball and plenty of fun in the coming weeks.
