The 14th and final week of the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League took place last night, bringing a brilliant season to a close. It’s been fantastic to see so many teams enjoying their netball each week and creating such a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

A congratulations to Coity Cobras, who finished the season at the top of the table with 28 points from 14 wins. Their consistency, teamwork and positive attitude have been great to watch all season. Well done as well to Baywatch Ballers, who secured a fantastic runners-up spot after a strong and consistent season.

This week’s matches were a lovely way to round things off. Netballerz edged past Game Of Throws in a closely contested 11–9 game, while Goal Patrol finished their season on a high with a 16–6 win over Goals Aloud. Every team showed great effort and encouragement right to the final whistle.

A special shoutout goes to Emma Rowlands from Coity Cobras, who was named Player of the Week. Emma’s commitment, skill and supportive approach have made a real difference to her team throughout the season.

It’s been a season full of fun matches, supportive teammates and plenty of smiles on court. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the next one!
